This is a ZERO stars Company. The .5 is only because the rating required something. I began working with Safe Load Moving & Storage on 10/17/11. I received information about my move from Las Vegas, NV to Littleton, CO. I put together an inventory and I received a quote from their company. On 12/15 I authorized a move for 12/26 based on my inventory and numerous emails and conversations. I received daily calls from the company rep. until I authorized service. From that point on it was nearly impossible to get them to take my calls and answer my questions. On the day of the move, the person in charge was dishonest, contradictory and horribly difficult to work with. He barged into the apartment and began packing my items even though I had packed myself and was waiting for them to bring the boxes( I paid for) to pack the last of my clothes and pictures in while they moved the furniture. Instead of giving me the boxes he instructed his staff to start putting stuff in them and then began pressuring me to sign the contract. When I questioned being charged for work I didn't authorize he began to lie to me and contradict what the salesperson told me and what I agreed to. He then said he would only charge me $200 more for the "packing" if I would agree to pay a binding price for the move rather than have the Department of Transportation weigh it. It was a small load but he kept saying it would probably be much heavier than the agreed upon weight. He then stated that there would be additional charges if the "18 wheeler" couldn't fit in my neighborhood. After a long hassle, I agreed to pay $200 more and to a binding amount for the move. The man said he owned the company and could do whatever he wanted when I tried to call the office to talk to the person I contracted with. When the items were finally loaded into their truck, we saw that the truck was about the size of a rental truck, certainly not even close to an 18 wheeler and our items were only filling about a quarter of it. The man then demanded that I tip his workers. The workers were probably contracting with him (maybe under the table) and he wanted me to help him pay what he owed them by asking (actually telling) me to provide a tip even though at that point we had a binding contract. This company is a scam. The staff at the apartment complex told me that they had had problems with this mover in the past. In any case, I did not tip them. They glared at my son and I and the apartment manager until they finally left. The load was supposed to be delivered on 12/31/11. In spite of my continual calls and emails, the company refused to talk with me and give me a date of delivery. They didn't notify me 24hours prior to the 31st. It was finally delivered by a rental size truck (not an 18 wheeler) on 1/12/12. They notified me at the wrong number in spite of being told the correct number on many occasions. They were different people than the people I contracted with. The truck was a rental, one you could pick up at Budget or Hertz. It was in no danger of having even close to 18 wheels. They damaged my furniture severely and were the rudest, most difficult and non-compliant group of people I've ever encountered. We had to call the Sheriff because we were uncomfortable with how they were conducting themselves and refusing to do the job agreed upon. We paid the Sheriff who gave them the money. They did not reassemble anything. (which was part of the contract for them to do). They were completely unprofessional in attitude, language and dress. The company lied and lied and lied. They only own one truck and they rent from other people who move your stuff so you don’t even know where it’s been or who has it. We’ve filed complaints with the Department of Transportation (a complete waste of time) and the Better Business Bureau. Safe Load Moving and Storage is a horrible company with a horrible way of doing business. I filed what amounted to a legal brief with their insurance company to complain about the damage they caused to my furniture. I wouldn’t wish them on my worst enemy. They should not be in business. Please do not use this company you don’t deserve what it will cost you financially and emotionally.

This company is a group of unprofessional scammers. They over charged us by $3000 on our move from Las Vegas to Portland, and they delivered 1 week later than promised. This is how they work. They will talk bad about other companies and ensure you that they have a BBB rating of A (it is only because they have 2 reviews). They will promise to match your quotes. When it comes time to move they pack up all your stuff and load it on a truck.

Once loaded that is where they jack up the price and claim that the ''original quote was off and now you have to pay X price. If you go with weight or measurement by cubic feet I would ask them how they measure because they don;t explain that and that is how they charge you per pound or per cubic feet. The only reason why we had to go with them was they had our stuff in their truck before they gouged us and we already had plane tickets the next day.

DONT USE THEM

They will hold your belongings hostage and demand more money on delivery. Give estimate on cubic feet and will later charge per weight having never seen them weigh in front of you. Didn't deliver for over five weeks. On delivery demanded $1100 more in cash. After unloaded many boxes of items missing. The owners name is Bobli (Bob) I think hes Israeli.

Safeload is the worst moving company. Very unreliable, very unprofessional and a bunch of liars. Chris is very unreliable, he will do everything to get your job and when he gets it then he will show you how bad he is.

Chris told me they have a truck going to my new location. We agreed on the date of delivery but it was delivered 5 days late. When they came go pick my households stuff the person that was sent added extra $600 to the original amount when I called Chris he said he trust the man that I should remove some of my stuff if I'm not happy with the price.

My furniture and mattresses were wrapped with black cellophane. The delivery driver refused to unwrap all my furniture. The ones he unwrapped he left the garbage in front of my door. I called Chris to complain to him he said he knows the driver that he did a good job. When I unwrapped my furniture I noticed that the edges of my Sofa, loveseat, and mattresses were torn and have black stain. The person who said he is the manager threatened to put my stuff in storage if I don't pay the driver before unloading. Now I know why he insisted on getting the money first.

This is the worst company I've ever seen. I cannot recommend Safeload to even my enemy. They are very bad
