If you are considering Galaxy for your move, BEWARE. I have moved many, many times in my lifetime (locally and across Canada), and this is by far the worst experience I have ever encountered. Most of what Galaxy moved for us was damaged (scratched, gouged, or broken), as were the walls of the apartment we moved from, and the brand new house we moved into. They did not wrap or protect a single stick of furniture, inspite of the blankets in the truck. They made us tape all the doors/drawers etc shut, and even then, they ran out of tape for us. No mats or protective wall coverings were placed anywhere. The movers tried to hide the damages as they moved the furniture in. Brent, the company's manager, on the day of the move, said that they would make good on the damages. THIS WAS ONE MONTH AGO. Since then, in spite of repeated attempts to have someone from Galaxy advise the status of the claim, NO ONE has contacted me, or returned any of my calls.

Galaxy moving was probably the best moving company i have ever worked worth. They gave me a flat rate and unlike the other companys i worked with stayed with it and didnt add any hidden fees. I highly recommend you to move with them. They are very professional and know exactly what they are doing.

stay far away! these movers worthless. would never give me a firm estimate with the correct legal verbiage. suggested we try a trail move where they would take some of my possessions, then see how i liked them. beware of their low estimate..they cannot possibly move you for the price their quote. Totally unprofessional this company should be reported
