This company is the worst I have ever delt with. They overcharged me by $900.00 dollars and have held my items for delivery for 3 weeks. The customer service does not exsist and they will hang up on you if you call after they have taken your deposit.

GET ANOTHER MOVER PLEASE !!!!!!

If i could give negative stars, i would. Do NOT make the mistake i made by choosing to go with this company. We chose them because they gave us the cheapest quote, but ended up repeatedly asking for more money. They picked up my stuff on May 28 & were supposed to deliver latest by June 10. It is now June 12 and they have yet to leave the city i was moving from! They hardly pick up the phone, and when they do, they have no answers for us. We were stupid to give them 60% of the cost up front (now we know never to give more than 20% so the movers are more motivated to actually deliver the stuff).

Bottom-line, Midwest Moving Co
-Appears cheap, but ends up more
-BAD service
-NOT timely
-manipulative

Hire them at your own risk. They collected so many disputes on Better Business Bureau that they've changed the company name.

First, they arrived to my apt late. They didn't pack any of my furniture appropriately, they threw a couple blankets over my plasma TV and threw it in a unpadded box. They put tape directly on my furniture, they didn't bubble wrap anything and of course when it arrived to my destination which they were again late by 7 days, I found many of my items to be broken. Two of my artwork frames were broken, 3 of my TV speakers wer broken, my kitchen glasses were broken, boxes were smashed and in terrible condition. I tried calling the salesperson Brian everyday to express my frustration and no phone call back. He was so nice and said this business was a family owned business and the movers are trustworthy. The movers were all contractors and when they came to pack my stuff, the original quote of $1400 went up to $2000. Upon arrival they demanded I pay them in cash or they would not give me my furniture. DO NOT USE THEM!!

All I can say is that the way this company operates is SHADY. We chose them to reduce the stress of moving and they created so much more. They were supposed to be at our house between 11 and 1. They didn�t show up. They called 4 hours later and said they were 30 minutes away. By 9 pm, our family decided to go to bed and figured they'd show up in the morning. When we got into bed, the phone rang and the moving company said, �We�re here.&quot; I asked them what time we were going to move in the a.m. and they said, &quot;We have to move you right now or else you won't be moved because our truck is going back to Denver without your stuff and you'll have to find another moving company.&quot; We asked to speak to the dispatcher, and he said it wasn't his fault; this was the way it was going to be. We asked to speak to the owner and were told that it was not possible. Naturally, the company knew we wouldn't switch to another mover. Our schedule was already set. So they moved us at their convenience which meant that they didn't finish until 3am, leaving us to sleep on the floor. They too were tired and did a careless job. They didn't protect the floors. They stuck tape directly on furniture items. They forgot to pack our kitchen pots and pans and we didn't notice until they were gone so we had to pay to ship those ourselves. When we told the company about that thinking they\'d reimburse us the $65, they said yes, and then later when they went to collect the money, they denied they ever said they'd take care of that fee. I could go on and on about the terrible service we received. Chris the sales rep was sooo nice on the phone when the sale was in transaction, but once the deal was sealed, he wouldn't return my calls. What kind of a salesperson is that?!! Several items were broken during the move and several more are missing. I'm still in awe that we were charged over $900 just for packing materials when we provided most of our own and they didn't even pack the boxes full. Honestly, I could have hired some strong 8th graders to pack us up and they would have been at least as good. They were supposed to give a 24 hour notice for delivery and I received a 3 hour notice. The driver and crew who showed up with our furniture were subcontractors. BEWARE when using this company.
