Please do NOT use this company...they falsely represent that they are the actual movers when they are just a broker. The movers were horrible, dirty and very late at pick-up and delivery. They damaged items and I am still waiting for any compensation. They could not tell me when my items would be delivered and after countless calls and 2+ weeks later I got a call from the driver at 9PM saying he would arrive at 8 AM the next day...and he didn't arrive until 3PM. They lied about the actual cost of the move, saying on the day of the move I had extra items, as well as the insurance plan. To say they are horrible is being kind!!!! DO NOT USE THEM!!

Learn from my mistake and do not trust them to move you. I am pregnant and trying to move from Chicago to Texas. Nationwide promised a pick up for 04/03/11 and never showed or called. We spent the entire week listening to them feed us lies and tell us 4 more times the movers were on there way and they never showed. I am now in Texas with my furniture still in our apartment and am having to get new movers. I have had to turn them into the BBB and also dispute the payment with my bank. If they can do this to a pregnant women imagine what they will do to you! I delt with mostly women on the phone so you would think they would sympathize but they lied to me and my family on a daily basis. I honestly do not know how they can get through a work day feeling good about them.

My move was scheduled for Monday 1/10. I got a phone call on Friday 1/7 from the movers saying they were coming the next morning. When I spoke with Jennifer at Nationwide on Saturday morning, she assured me that I was schedule for Monday 1/10 and the move would happen then. I never heard anything from them until I called Monday morning wondering where the movers were. I spoke with Sarah, Crystal, and finally Amber the manager. They could not give me an explanation as to why the movers were not there and finally confirmed the move for Wednesday 1/12. I called Amber and the mover, Jose Cortez with Expedient Moving, to confirm on Tuesday, but on Wednesday, no one showed up. Amber again had no explanation and was incompetent and did not even attempt to resolve the problem. I got a call Thursday morning 1/13 from the movers saying they could be there in an hour, so I left work to meet them. When they got there, the movers refused to abide by the moving contract and wanted to charge extra for packing materials, which were included in the printed contract with Nationwide. The movers harassed me and one pushed me. When they refused to speak with me or give me a business card or any other sort of identification, they left.

Let me just start off saying I have moved many times in my lifetime being a military wife. I have NEVER had a more horrible experience than with Nationwide Moving Services. They should really not be in business. My belongings were scheduled to be delivered on June 29, 2010. I heard nothing from the at all the week between when my items were picked up and neither on June 29th when my items were supposed to be delivered. I called on June 29th 2010 and no one could tell me anything. They couldn't even locate the driver or tell me where exactly my belongings were. I was finally given a date of July 5th, which came and went, but I never received a call from Nationwide stating other wise. I had to call them and find out this information. Long story short...a total of 3 weeks passed, I would call everyday, and everday they would tell me they couldn't get in touch with the driver that had my belongings and had no clue where my thing were, if they were even stored or still on a truck. The driver called me 2 days before he was to deliver and then the day after to let me know he wasn't going to deliver on Saturday as planned but now it would be Sunday. Still no word from Nationwide. Also, I had overages and had to find this out from the driver the day before my belongings were to be delivered, NOT by Nationwide. Nationwide did not nor do they care about the heartache and trouble I experienced from dealing with them. I literally had migraines everyday! Do not use them, this company is careless with your valuables and do not at all care about their customers.

The service was not great the guys hardly spoke English both pick up and delivery of our things where later then agreed upon.

Not a company I would recommend

This company does business under the name of Nationwide Movers. They are a moving broker, meaning that they solicit business and they contract it out to actual moving companies. They engage in gross and fraudulent misrepresentation when giving quotes for services. They are also dishonest and provide customers with false information. I was quoted $1300 for the move and ended up paying $2000. The subcontractors, Manchester Moving & Storage, out of Melrose Park, Illinois, has a couple of guys who spoke virtually no English load the truck and then demand that i pay them $2600! If i did not agree, they would keep my deposit and charge me for the loading and unloading time. Josef from Nationwide also assured me that i would be able to pay half for the move at pick up and other half at delivery, and assured me that VISA is accepted. Manchester, however, demanded that i either charge the entire balance of 2600 on my credit card, or pay cash only on delivery. I paid Manchester 1300 as i promised and attempted to deal with nationwide to get them to live up to their quote. No such luck. All my calls and voicemails to &quot;joe&quot; were completely ignored. The one time i did speak with him, he said that i need to speak with the &quot;dispatcher&quot;. I was fraudulently inducted to do business with Manchester Moving and Storage. i never contacted them and never had any negotiations with them about my move or the price. Essentially, i was put in a position where i had to argue with Manchester about a quote that was provided by another business entity. I am still unclear exactly as to the relationship that exists between these two companies. Nationwide never once told me that some other company would be performing the move. The movers said they are &quot;subcontractors&quot; and the dispatcher from Manchester told me they are &quot;an agent&quot; of nationwide. Overall, this was the worst experience at a time when i was already stressed from moving across the country. i plan to file suit against Nationwide. I sincerely hope that this review helps anyone looking to move avoid this scam. Nationwide Movers, DBA Paramount Van Lines, needs to be put out of business permanently.

This company has changed names 10 times they are the biggest crooks in the moving industry, R S relocation, American World Van Lines,Texas Moving Services, all the same company and owner run the other way !
