The moving team was above and beyond the best I've ever had. Both gentlemen were professional and hard working. I felt like they truly enjoyed their jobs and treated my belongings as if they were their own. I would definitely hire them again! Thank you guys for making this an awesome moving experience!

I used New Planet Moving to move 1 bedroom apt from the 4th to 2nd floor (no elevator), and I can't add that much more except 5 more stars.

I got quotes from a few places in the area, also highly rated on yelp. My apartment was not a big move obviously. I was trying to do it on the cheap, so I just wanted hired help to move all the big stuff, as fast a possible so I'd pay as little as possible. Most places had a three hour minimum, or charged a stairs fee on top of it. Bookstore came out to be by far the cheapest, by a good $100.

But more than that, the communication was prompt and easy, John and Ellis were really friendly, right on time, handled everything great, finished way before the stated 2 hr minimum, and offered to help move more things than I originally asked. That ended up saving me like 20 trips up and down the stairs myself later in the day.

Overall, as good as advertised!

New Planet Moving and Storage moved me from Los Angeles, CA. to Las Vegas, Nevada.
The overall experience was amazing, I really did not think that such a move could be performed so flawlessly. My first contact was with Lauren from the main office, she took down all of my information, and booked my move. They gave me a set time on when the crew would arrive to my home to begin the moving process, and an estimated window when we would arrive to Las Vegas, they absolutely kept within these times and I was absolutely shocked at how efficiently they worked. I really have only great things to say about this company, I know that it has been around for many years and I can definitely see why. Their customer service was outstanding dealing with many people throughout the move, not one gave me less than exceptional service.

I wanted to post this review to let others know what a truly great company New Planet is and how they will truly get the job done right in a timely manner. Thank you again I appreciate all the hard work and for bringing me and family's belongings to our new home.

I recently contacted New Planet Moving to receive a quote and get a better understanding of how the process works, since this was my first time working with a moving company. I called a few other places before them and did not receive as much information or service from anyone else. Lauren from their main office immediately took my call and gave me a very reasonable quote based on what I was looking for, she was so helpful and friendly that I booked the move without thinking twice. The day of the move, went very well without any major issues, I moved locally in Las Vegas, and had quite a bit of furniture, the moving crew arrived just on scheduled time, they were ready to work and got the job done fairly quickly with the amount of stuff we were moving, I was expecting it to take much longer. The crew was all very professional and experienced, they handled everything with care. Before I knew it they had loaded my entire house into the truck, and we and we were on our way to my new home.

This company gave an estimate of $6,300 to move my household from Arizona to Oregon. The estimate was based on an inventory of my house that they asked me to provide over the telephone. I went through every room and listed every major item and then the number of drawers, cabinets and closets. I inquired several times if they were confident in their estimate without actually conducting an onsite review and was assured that their estimating software was the best. I was also assured that I would be given a chance to watch the truck be weighed, get an empty weight and then watch the truck get weighed once filled and get the full weight so that I would be assured that any deviance from the estimate due to weight would be justified. Well, they showed up the day of the scheduled move and said the move with a truck already partially filled and said it would cost an additional $12,000 because there was more to move than I had provided in the inventory. The goodness of New Planet Moving and Storage seriously made my actual moving day go with ease. These guys were efficient and awesome. Before the move, they were very nice and accommodating in my early start time. Then when I had to push back my move date, they adjusted their schedule accordingly. These guys complied with all the annoying requests from both my old place and new place and they did the whole job in 2.5 hours only! The movers were nice, and simply made my day. Nothing was broken and everything went as per the schedule that day. My only concern was that due to some reason they did not accept payment thru card on that day and I had to arrange for an alternative payment arrangement.

The guys from New Planet Moving were good . I actually lived a couple of doors down from this company , so when the time to move came , it was a no-brainer as to who we were going to use to move us out a few blocks away. We had way more stuff than I'd estimated (as always seems to be the case!), but the guys had us moved in just a few hours and were off to their next job before I even know what hit me. It was like an tropical whirlwind coming up and picking up all our stuff and put it all down gently across to our destination. My only concern was that due to some reason they did not accept payment thru card on that day and I had to arrange for a cashiers cheque from my bank which caused some inconvenience otherwise their service was not bad and hopefully I won't be moving again for long time, but if I do I shall still hire them.

I helped my daughter move from Lubbock, TX to AZ in Oct 2011. I did not want to go with New Planet due to all the horrible reviews but the sales rep (Lesley) promised my daughter they could get her stuff to her in 2-5 days since it was on the way back to Las Vegas (of course this is not in writing). Once her stuff was picked up, the story completely changed. There were 5 pick-ups scheduled after hers and the driver was going in the oppposite direction. She did not get her stuff until 14 days later. They estimated her packing costs to be $425 but the total came in at $819. They said the weight was 350 lbs over our VERY over estimated inventory list. The total cost came to $3185.50 (original est was $2300 for 3500 lbs). We had several things broken during the move, largest item was a lg Oak wall unit that was completely broke at arrival. We filed a claim to get the .60/lb standard insurance but have heard NOTHING on that claim. Listen to the reviews, choose another moving company!

I just wanted to take a few moments to let everyone know the great customer service I received with new planet moving. After 50 million calls and emails I felt that my phone would not stop ringing. So I buckled down and decided to start with 5 companies. So I randomly picked 5 estimates and then sent my itemized list to them. After going thru the prices of all of them and what they offered I narrowed it down to 2. The thing that won me over about new planet was the customer service I received. Every time I called they had a live person answer the phone. I started out by working with Lesley then I also worked with the dispatcher summer. Summer was the one who told me where the truck was and when I was getting my items. The movers who moved my items were very nice and seemed to know what they were doing. They wrapped everything I needed them to and even threw in a box for free. i am a very happy customer. hope this helps

I was initially attracted to this company because when I started to talk to different people I felt like I was in the old days of telemarketing scams. Every other word out of some peoples mouth was "what's the card number"... So I called back to Lauren at New Planet Moving because she made me feel so comfortable from the first phone call. She explained to me the differences between all of the different companies, she gave me a good rate and explained everything very much in detail so i felt comfortable with her. I did some looking online and their reviews were pretty good, and much better than 4 of the other companies I was comparing. So as I was comparing I finally chose this company. From start to finish I had a good experience. There were no damages to my stuff, the movers did an amazing job and moved everything quickly, and the rate the girl gave me upfront was the same thing I paid at the destination. I am very happy to say that I had a great move.

I just want to tell you that we were pleased with your service from beginning to end. The guys at pick up were courteous and efficient.
We made contact with Carlos. He was kind and kept us up to date as to when he would be delivering. Both guys were patient and did a nice job.
My daughter was a little stressed during delivery and at the end found damage on a Secretary Desk. Carlos took a picture and said they would take care of it. He couldn't have been nicer. Later, I was able to point out that the damage was not on the part of New Planet but at another time period. When she was able to be calm, she had to agree that it was not New Planet's fault. Please disregard the damage claim.
I thank you for your service and definitely will recommend your company to others.

i really had a great move i went over 2000miles and i had no damages i had no real issues at all-- they made it to my new home within the timeframe they told me that they would, they did full packing and finished so fast i gotto have a going away dinner last minue with my family i hope i never move again because of all the shi** u have to do but new planet will def get my business if i move again thier truck came to my house in dc i had no problems and i will always refer to them

You read a lot of crap about movers and all the scams that can go along with the companies. After doing my research and talking to several different companies I chose New Planet Moving because really the girl Lauren was the only one from any of the companies that really explained things thoroughly and seemed to only talk about thier company as opposed to talking bad about every other moving company. And man some of these people were ruthless. Anyways at the end of the day I recieved my delivery and everything was fine, no damage or lost items which was really my only scare. Lauren had me over estimate my weight, and told me about the packing that I needed to accomplish, and I was ready to go when the movers got to my home. I also got printable packing labels, and coupons from thier website. My move was from Las Vegas NV to Denver CO.

i moved from ohio to nevada and i had a great move. they told me theyd come on the 1st or the 2nd, and they called me two days before to let me know i was moving on the 1st and that was good because i really wanted to leave on the 2nd. the movers were very helpful and gave me a break on the long carry from my apartment in ohio. i gave them pizza and then we went to the scale. i decided to do that so that i could pay my balance then and not worry about it later. my weight was 120lbs over but they said that they would have the office call me to check it out-- well when the guy called he told me that since i didnt add anything, i wasnt going to have to pay more- i was so greatful. i had my items stored for 2 weeks so i could find my new place, and although they moved my items into and out of storage before bringing them to me, all of my stuff was good, nothing was broken. the movers at delivery were also cool and set up all my stuff for me too-.

Moving with this company is like playing russian roulette with our belongings. If nothing is broken and there are zero mistakes and the movers are all in a good mood when you talk to them you might get out unscathed. However, as soon as the first piece slips they start lying, as soon as you need to file an insurance claim, they lie, and start ignoring you.

They left my vacuum on their truck by accident. Months later I got it in the mail via FedEx - torn to pieces. Something straight out of a mobster movie except it wasn't human parts it was my vacuum cleaner. Then they tried to involve me in fraud to file a claim against FedEx.

Now they're ignoring my requests to file the claim with their insurance company. They made agreements on the BBB complaint that I filed that they are now not making good on.

Simple matter I know, I feel lucky after reading the other complaints about this company.

Please be aware of this company. Initially, they will quote you low upfront fees to lure customers in, then after that youâ��re at their mercy with extra fees and other price adjustments. These fees can be cost to use stairs, long carry, or elevators â�� to access your home. Additional fees that they will charge are handling of extra bulky items, waiting time (if they have to wait on you they will charge you $75.00 per hour), warehouse handling, and redelivery. The representatives never mention in their quotes these cost. I wished I had adhered to the warnings that reviewers had posted. However, I took a chance with them because I was on a Budget. First, they quoted my move from Los Angeles to D.C at $1495 for $3000 lbs; in the end I paid a total of $2288. They lost some of my boxes, my items were damage, and the driver was rude and lack total command of English language making communication very difficult. They quoted in my price, that the service men will unpack my items however, this is not free they will charge you. They charged me and extra $276 for elevator use and to carry the items into my apartment. The insurance company they contract with for claims processing is also very inefficient company. Its been two months since I submitted my claim, when I call the representatives for status updated they said they need 30 days to review and then they will reply. NEW PLANET MOVING & STORAGE ARE RIPOFFS, SCAMMERS, & THIEVES. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Funny how every bad review written, NPM gets an employee to write another fake good review? Don't believe them. They ripped us off for $1800! We signed a contract that said the full cost would be $3500. They took our furniture, called us days later, said we had to pay $5300 or they would auction our stuff off. Truck leaked + ruined all our beds, sofas, chairs, rugs, tables, + more. Failed to deliver many items (either kept or lost). Movers destroyed our dining set, bookcases, desks, cedar chest, + all dressers. They lied about everything. Their contract says they crate your furniture-LIE! They tore up boxes then taped to our furniture. Lost legs to our end tables, dropped washer + it came to pieces. Didn't reassemble anything they took apart. They REFUSE to honor anything their contract said. Use this company + they WILL rip you off + destroy your furniture. Find another way, no matter what the other company charges. You'll pay 20 times more with them for all the damages + overcharges.

I have heard that for every bad review, they have an employee write a fake good review to try and counteract all the hundreds of bad complaints they're getting. They lure you with low prices, then hold your furniture in their warehouse in Vegas until you pay more + more + more. Don't believe their lies and fake reviews. They belong in jail, as one reviewer said, they blackmail and extort customers and commit fraud in EVERY situation. HOW is it possible that this crooked bunch of low life snakes are still in business? I have decided to join the class action suit against them to try and recover the $2000 in overcharges and $11,000 in damages and theft they did to us. DON'T be fooled by their promises and lies, they will SCREW you over just like they have screwed over hundreds of others. BEWARE and get out. Don't think that you'll be the one person they don't screw over. AND, guess what, your homeowner's insurance WILL NOT pay for the damages they inflict on your property!

I have never moved before. I went to awebsite that got me tons of estimates. I went through a list with the first person that called me, &they told me I had about 4000lbs. So I shopped all the companies with the same weight. When I spoke with Lauren @ New Planet she informed me that most of the issues customers have stem from being over the weight estimate.Although I insisted on not going through another inventory she made me.she told me that my weight was 5,000lbs,as much as I wasnt looking forward to paying more for my move than I had been planning on with a 4000lb estimate, I ended up going w/5000lb estimate. I went to the scale with the movers to verify if I really had that, & I had 200 more lbs than that. Being that my inventory didnâ��t change by much they didnâ��t charge me for that 200lbs which I thought was cool.I received my furniture intact yesterday and I am very happy with thier service. I think alot of ppl who complain wouldve complained w/any company.

Late, incompetent, lied, stole from us, broke furniture, lost furniture, held furniture hostage in Vegas until we paid double, used strong arm tactics to force us into paying more money, owed us a refund but charged us $1500 more. Both were rude and threatened us with distruction and disposal of property if we didn't keep paying. Grim Reaper on Facebook advertising class action suit, hope everyone will join in and put these dirtbags out of business. Owner is Moshe Alosh, dispatcher "Joe's" real name is Yossi Cohen. DO NOT use this company, they will cheat you. And don't be fooled by the limited, few good reviews that they are all posting on the Internet themselves to try and balance the 100s of bad reviews. Tried to contact some of these "good review" people and they don't exist! Liars, thieves, blackmailers, commiting fraud at every turn. REPORT THEM.

* arrived a day late, delivered 8 hrs late
* dropped ET ctr down stairs, broke desk before out of house
* contract said charged by weight only, not cubic feet
* my stuff was 800+ pounds less, should have received a $500 refund, instead was charged $1200 more
* took stuff to Vegas, then called 2 days later and said pay more or we'll dump your stuff on street
* stole packing materials from my house (right in front of me), then charged me for my stuff they stole
* left 8 items behind on the driveway in the rain, all ruined
* items delivered were missing a custom window, two oak cabinets, and a bar stool
* refused to admit or compensate
* items delivered were severely damaged: wet, stained mattresses, punctured + ripped cushions on sofas, furniture busted and cracked, broken mirrors, finish on wood scraped off
* when they realized they screwed up the space required for my stuff, they started adding the words Bulky Items to list so they could get more

Moving is never very fun and always seems to be a stressful event and this is why many people opt to use a moving company. I decided the same when I was moving cross country with my family. Our BIGGEST mistake was to chose New Planet Moving. They were NOT punctual on their pick (a day late) and gave us the run around with our delivery, we ended up sleeping on the floor a week and a half longer than we were originally told. When our belongings arrived, they were over two hours late which made it impossible to be there because of prior professional commitments. I don't like splitting the wife and husband team when dealing with valuable and high-financial situations. I received multiple worrying calls from my wife while I was away stating that she could not understand the movers and finally that they told her they were going to charge her more if she didn't give them a big tip. Many things were lost or broken, New Planet Moving acted extremely unprofessional and it was horrible.

I recently moved with this company and although I will admit they did call to ask me if I would post a positive review, I really dont mind to do it at all. They did a great job the lady I booked with, the movers at both my pickup and delivery were great, and the dispatcher was super helpful. I also appreciated the fact that they always stuck to the initial answers to questions that I had. This is also one of the things that made me choose them. Other companies were changing the answers depending on when Id call. I was very nervous to move with any carrier but I am glad that I did choose New Planet Moving because everything got here just fine and I will totally recommend them in the future. I think people need to keep in mind that if there is an issue with any company people always complain right away, but even myself I had a great move, and I wouldnt have thought to write the review unless they asked. Thank you!

This is a discount company. Delivery to us was delayed for 16 days because they take everything to their warehouse in Las Vegas, and do not deliver it until they can schedule a truck carrying several loads to the same region. If you are planning to move to a high-volume region, this many not be a problem.

I would never again trust New Planet Moving! They were the worst in service, before, during and after the move!
Before the move: they came late. They were late by one whole day and then 3 hours on the time they promised to arrive.
During the move: They arrived 11 days AFTER they promised to be there. So of course we called them at ALL THE NUMBERS they provided and not a single person would tell us an exact arrival date/time. As they unpacked the truck when they arrived, the moving people bribed me into tipping them more in exchange for not charging last minute fees. Also, they lost so many of our things and many of the boxes were damaged as they were unpacked.
After the move: As I had unpacked a bunch of the boxes, I found items completely mishandled and shattered. And letâ��s not forget that I STILL HAVE items from OTHER clients! I had informed them at least 25 times to come pick up these items to be returned to other homes and they never did!

I went online to this website and it sent my information to what seemed like 50 different companies. I looked through my million emails and decided on 5 to compare that looked like reliable companies.) Out of the 5 I chose New Planet was right in the middle cost wise, and I spoke with a really nice girl named Lauren. I spoke with the other companies as well and narrowed it down to New Planet, and one other company. After doing some research I found that they both had mixed reviews online, I admit I was nervous you hear all the horror stories about movingI called Lauren and she helped me understand how everything works, and that as long as I gave ample time to deliver, and had an accurate inventory that they would take care of me I am happy to say that my movers were so helpful and so fast it was unbelievable, the delivery guys were just as great and only one table had a small scratch. I owed them to write a review, as I had given them such a hard time about the negative ones.

I do not have enough space in this box to BEGIN to describe what I went through with these people. First of all, they will nickel and dime you to death. They gave us the lowest quote of anyone we called and ended up paying almost double the original quote. The girls who answer the phone are SO nice and promise you the world, but it is all a rip-off. They told us 5 to 7 days and ended up waiting 2 weeks for our stuff and with so much damage it is ridiculous. I am DREADING working with their claims department. After all, they already have my money, why should they start giving good customer service now? I mentioned that the girls who answer the phones and give the quotes are so nice? Well, wait until they have your money. After that they will only transfer you to managers to take the calls and the guy I talked to (on numerous occasions) was rude and uncaring. I wish now I would have listened to all the other reviewers and stayed away.

When I planned to move I called the local big guys united, allied and etc They came out and gave me estimates that there was no way i could afford. I was reffered by a friend of mine to New Planet Moving. I reserved my move and when the guys arrived they were uniformed, professional and very careful with my stuff. My delivery came about 2 days after i did, which was fine because i had some cleaning to do before they arrived anyway. I moved from Ohio to GA and the same guys picked up and delivered my things, which was also nice. They gave me a little comment card asking for this review, which i think was a good idea seeing as there are so many companies out there and i am sure customers want to know the facts. i wouldnt have thought about it for a moving company honestly, as i didnt research anything before choosing them. But overall was a great deal and service

New Planet Moving & Storage is a company of con-artists. They are perfectly nice to you in the beginning, assuring you that everything will be great, but that all changes once you sign the agreement. You will never get who you want to talk to on the phone, and if you do talk to someone, they will blame everything on you and be rude about it. Here is what will happen: movers will be late (both pick up and delivery), the supposed padded estimate that should assure your quote to be accurate, will be wrong and you will end up paying way more than you thought, and your stuff is not safe with them.and these people do not protect your stuff. Buyer beware with New Planet Moving, because I should have gone with the reviews I read, because the negative ones were all 100% accurate. Save yourself the hassle and money and do not TRUST THIS COMPANY! They are crook

Luckily nothing was damaged no thanks to them. I'll have to attribute that to me packing our goods very well. Additionally, I transported my stereo, computer, and some other sensitive items myself.
This move cost me about an extra $850 dollars for a slow low quality move. I would not recommend this company even for a local move. They have plenty of hidden fees and a manager that pulls back on his word. The girl at the dispatch and reception sounded very nice and pleasant; if I were them I would work for a more reputable company. Avoid them like the plague!

This has to have been the worst moving experience I have ever had. In fact should I need to move again I will be moving myself even though it is a lot of extra work. New Planet sent a representative to my home to appraise the total weight of the load to be transported. The sales rep Sebastian was very friendly while trying to get my business and full of promises about promptness, level of care towards personal valuables, and the total cost of the move with no hidden fees. Worrying about hidden fees with these movers seems to be a major concern of most consumers. Particularly dealing with having to transfer your goods from a semi-truck to a smaller moving van. In trying to address such concerns I made a deal with the company stating that should we need to get a smaller truck if the semi couldn't fit in our new location that we could set a rate at $400 additional instead of the $875 that they typically charge for such "service". I was also informed at this time that should the truck they send to my location be able to come within a certain distance of my front door I would not have to pay the additional $400.

After deciding to go with New Planet we set a pickup date. The moving crew arrived on time and after seeing how they wrapped my furninture I felt like they had been the right choice. However one or more crew members decided to help themselves to some of the beverages and other items I was planning to take on my car trip up to my new home. After speaking with my sales rep to make sure that my items would be delivered on my requested arrival date at my new location....some 8 days later, I set off for my new home. I was not contacted by any representative of the company to inform me that my requested arrival date would not be honored. I was never apologized to for the inconvinience nor would half the individuals at the company return my phone calls, to this day some two weeks after the move I have not heard from the sales rep even though I specifically requested for him to call me so we could iron out some of the issues I had experienced. My items arrived five days later and no one would give me a timetable of when to expect the arrival even after repeated phone calls to the dispatcher and driver to obtain further information. Also, during these calls to determine the whereabouts of our furniture, the representatives spoke rudely to myself and my wife.

The first major issue that we encountered was that the truck they came to my new domicile in fit just fine so I was under the impression that I would only have to pay $4000 total instead of $4400. Well, that didn't work as planned. I was informed that the company unilaterally decided to switch to a smaller truck because a semi would not fit down my street. Numerous neighbors stated that they have seen semi trucks come into the community in order to move people in and out of thier homes and there has not been a problem before. So the company, while holding my possessions hostage, forced me to pay the extra $400 up front prior to them unloading my belongings. Furthermore while at the packing stage they had sent four people to load my posessions only two came to unload the truck so the process took twice as long as it should have. 6 of my boxes were missing from the inventory list that we had made, 4 pieces of furniture had been damaged, and the way the truck was packed had destroyed good sturdy boxes. Some boxes had holes punched in the sides, others were squished beneath furniture in the truck, and yet others were opened as if someone had been rifling through the contents. After speaking with the manager of the company, Moses, he became verbally hostile when i questioned his decision to change the type of moving vehicle that came to my domicile and also the lack of communication from his company to myself and my wife when we had questions. Please do not give this sorry excuse for a service provider any future business. They have no idea what service and consistancy are all about.

We had to Pay $150 more!

We had to move around start of August 2009 from Houston, TX to Orange County, CA. We hired a moving company called American Knight from Houston. They did a splendid job. Movers showed up on time, packed everything efficiently and they were done in an hour or so (It's only a 1 bed apt. and there wasn't too many furniture). Anyways, so far so good. Unfortunately they subcontracted moving to another firm called New Planet Moving (http://newplanetmoving.com).

They showed up in Orange County, CA around middle of Aug. (this was deliberate since we were in Hawaii at the start of Aug.). Truck driver called us one Sunday evening saying they will be at our dropoff location, which is a storage facility close to our residence, at around 5:00 pm. they showed up at around 9:00pm! No problem that's fine.

The truck driver was extremely rude. He began his conversation by saying "Have you seen my 18 wheeler, can it go inside your storage facility?". We were sure that it could since there was plenty of space in front and we offered him to open the exit door to facilitate his manouvering but he got really upset saying he knows what he's doing and the truck won't fit inside the storage so we have to pay extra. Then he asked me to show him exact storage area. I took him there, from there he started counting feet by foot spaces all the while shaking his head in disbelief and asking us why would we would get a space so far in? From the start he seemed like he didn't want to finish his job. I said I'll give him and his helper gratuity but he remained very upset. Eventually he called somebody and after talking with him said we'll have to pay $200 more to him. We were shocked! Anyways we settled on $150 additional. So we had to run to the ATM to get some cash as they won't take anything else. Once we handed over the cash they pulled their truck inside the storage and started moving but they were very rude and unprofessional. They were manhandling out boxes and all the while saying you guys have too much stuff.

All in all it wasn't a good experience. We don't want any compensation or anything. We just felt like we were cheated and thought we should share this for other people who might be hiring this company for moving.

To anyone who is considering getting sucked into New Planet Moving and Storage low rates, and super friendly person who calls you, please heed my advice and run as fast as you can the other way! Do not get suckered in! They are absolutely horrible scammers! They will underestimate your move, then charge you the high rate poundage for the thousands of pounds over you will likely be, break/dent/scratch the majority of what you own, refuse to give you the weigh slips, and leave you with a headache you will be dealing with for months. Keep in mind with their 60 cents a pound, if they, let's say, drop and ruin your 40 pound flat screen TV...at 60 cents a pound, you are looking at a nice $24. That's only if you have enough stamina to persist after months of losing your claim, forgetting to submit it, not sending you the paperwork, etc., etc.

They underestimated our move by thousands of pounds, refused to give us weigh slips, refused to give us furniture without getting paid despite not having weigh slips, damaged the vast majority of our items, which were all horribley packed by them - boxes marked fragile on all sides were crushed underneath boxes full of books.

If you value what you own at all, do not use them. It will be ruined, even if you pay hundreds for their "crating", which is actually not a crate at all as anyone with reason would think of a crate. It is ripped up cardboard boxes wrapped around your stuff. They even taped the packing tape to the wood antiques on the inside to get the "crating" to stay on, and much to no one's surprise, packaging tape will rip off the finish off antiques. Amazingly enough, your stuff will still get damaged through seemingly impenetrable forcefield of cardboard.

Please heed my advice, spend a little more, and save yourself the pain of dealing with these people!
